Isn't socialism a system?

What do you suggest? a return to feudalism?

Oh wait, hang on, that's a fucking system isn't it?

I think you'll find capitalism will be around long after you and me are gone mate.

You can't change human nature.

no you can't when the food supply is blocked by agribusiness

What I told you when you were failing to get it through to your incredibly dense skull

is that your system is inhuman and mine isn't

So you do advocate systems then. Glad we cleared that up.

You say 'to get it through to [my] incredibly dense skull'? Why would I want to get any thing through to a lump of bone?

'My' system has done more to raise the living standards of ordinary people than any other system devised by man. And if it wasn't for the miracle of consumer capitalism we wouldn't be having this conversation over the internet.

Without the proft motive technology, medicine and transportation would still be in the dark ages.

Cars, computers, planes and various miracle drugs all came about because there was money to be made. It may be a sad fact of life but it is a fact of life.

Deal with it.

Neither. Both are absurd propositions especially as you are (presumably) typing this on a computer. I would say that capitalism has done a perfectly good job widening the use of that particular tool. So your analogy is incongruous.

You mean stopping this country being brought back into the dark ages when the ruling class send the children of the poor up the chimneys, kept the workers in squalor and where the term Health and Safety in work was unheard of.
