With two strikers offloaded and Balotelli a crock with no estimated resumption date, the question that needs to be answered is what if Edin Dzeko picks up an injury that leaves us without his service for a few matches?

With just the ineffectual Jo, who is as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike, we are seemingly reliant on midfield players to score goals.

So, I'm concerned that the club is seemingly leaving the situation as it is.

The situation is more pressing than any other area of transfer activity, of that I am certain.

Got to say I agree. This football blog reckons we're pretty settled, but we need a decent back up striker. Sadly, I can't see us getting one for a reasonable price what with the market and the fact us being us pushes the valuation up 10%...

I think we need more squad depth with SWP probly leaving in january too. But just as City fans....what can we do? Mancini is not listening to what we say here..neither the sheikh.

OK thats it.. I am calling my shot. Every post this poster makes is an WUM. Since he just joined this month that makes it pretty likely I am right.

We are trying to reduce the wage bill to fit the new FA rules. And I believe if we keep buying players, we will never be able to give our youngsters a chance.
