for counter attacking, city need more wingers like navas, di maria, neymar, alexis, gaitan, tello, pedro, ribery, robben, Rues

for Long ball game, city needs tall and strong Forward/Strikers in the opposite box, and few middle field player who can pass the ball to them, players like Dzeko, Ibra, Gomez, Mario, Cavani, Llorente,

so its upto city manager which style is he looking for coming season, in my opinion city should go for counter attack style, coz they have wingers like Milner, Navas in the team now, Silva can pass the ball from any area to the opposition box as well, yaya is famous for his runs, overall city still looks incomplete they still need 3 big money signing or 4 economical signings, including WINGERS ( Di Maria, Gaitan, Robben, Reus ) Centre Back ( Mangala, Garay, Marquinhos) Midfield ( Modric, Jovetic, Hamsik, Banega) Strikers/Forwards (Ibra, Lavezzi, Lawandowski )

DI MARIA + GAITAN + MODRIC + Hamsik + Reus = Expensive Signings
IBRA + LAVEZZI + LAWANDOWSKI = Expensive Signings
Mangala, Garay, Marquinhos = Expensive Signings

Economical Signings like Banega ( Centre Mid ), Salvio, Gustan Fernandez ( Winger), Ansaldi ( Left Back), Fegrico Fernandez ( Centre Back), Enzo Perez ( Centre Mid ),

before finishing this, i have seen few most talented player who needs a strong platform like city, PATRICIO RODRIQUEZ (SANTOS), DAMIAZ DIAZ ( BARCELONA)

fucking hell, I like Rodwell, but he has a really good game and a half and suddenly he is a better player than Yaya Toure, I think every manager and just about every fan in the Premier League would disagree strongly with you there

yep. rodwell will get plenty of game time (i actually think there'll be a fair few games we'll play fern-yaya-rodwell and totally dominate midfields) but yaya is clear starter

So Napoli say we will not pay buyout clause of £54m for Cavani.

So what happens next?

If we are not going to pursue Cavani now, then who do we go for?

Martinez, Jovetic, Gomez or has Txiki got other options which are a better fit.

I'd go for Martinez from Porto.

Certainly be interesting to see how quickly we move on, or not.

Been saying it for ages, but, since we're only going to be playing with one up front...we do not need to sign a striker!
