so you think we could keep Aguero, Dzeko, Guidetti and Suarez (or whichever new striker comes) happy next season? Even if we play one up top (if we do two than I can see it working)? Perhaps we should go for a lesser known striker for fourth spot.

Jovetic, fiorentina are my favorite Italian team (happen to be wearing a fiorentina shirt atm) every time I see that boy he does something amazing, and he's only young which is a plus

Seriously, who do you think we have as Plan B? Not many world beaters available now.

I wish we had tried to get Falcao. Now I'd like David Villa. Reckon he could be very good here for a couple of years. Wage is an issue, though.

That would leave us with Aguero, Villa, Tevez/Dzeko (one of them will probably be sold) and Guidetti.

So Napoli say we will not pay buyout clause of £54m for Cavani.

So what happens next?

If we are not going to pursue Cavani now, then who do we go for?

Martinez, Jovetic, Gomez or has Txiki got other options which are a better fit.

I'd go for Martinez from Porto.

Certainly be interesting to see how quickly we move on, or not.
