Why do you think it would work in the future?

These players are competitive by nature, they will not come here to ride the pine forever.

You need ROLE players behind your stars. We currently have Aguero, Dzeko, and Balotelli - formidable three that you can rotate in the future.

All you need is that humble, role guy who will be OK with waiting for his opportunity when one or two of the aforementioned trio get hurt or suspended, and fill that role short-term.

You just DONT WANT fucking carousel of a team if you want to go for a championship. If we get another star forward soon enough either Dzeko or Balotelli will leave. Just STOP this.

Do we really need a replacement for Tevez? The way we set up with that diamond up top, I don't think we really need a replacement. When I heard about the bust up my initial thought was who will replace him, but then I realized Tevez has been playing out wide, so this will just mean more minutes for AJ or Milner. As a few people have already said, this is time for Mario to step up and be Super. I get the feeling it is up to Mario and Kun how well we will do this year. If Mario becomes the star Mancini believes he is and Kun keeps up his stellar start, we should have nothing to worry about. I'm still not sold Dzeko should be our first choice striker, but I'd love to be wrong. In January I'd love to see us go for an out and out winger, to play along Dzeko. AJ is the only one we really have.

What I read from preseeason news is that mancini already expected tevez to leave and slot guidetti in as the fourth.striker. but the twat didn't go so john had to go out on a loan. If that's true, the club can recall guidetti. Poor lad.

Guidetti is currently on a year long loan deal at Feyenoord, doubt he will be able to be recalled.
Surely we will have to get someone from the EDS.

If the club had any sense what so ever they would go for JERMAINE DEFOE. Would be perfect as backup for Aguero.

The club has sense, and that's why that useless mongrel will never come close to a City shirt. Defoe? Really? FFS...

I agree we CAN NOT have 4 world class strikers as one will always feel undervalued!

Anyway Harry Bunn is a good option as he is quick, fast can play out wide has good finishing!
