In Prague and you're not going to mention goldfingers?Ended up in Valentines in Chorlton for my stag do in 1973, when they had strippers on, blimey what a night.
I played squash there as well - not on my stag do I'll add.
When I worked at ICL on Wenlock Way in Gorton, at lunch time they had topless barmaids in the pub at the end of the road, can't remember what it was called now. That was 1974 - 79 ish.

Similar story from ten years earlier. Working in Buffalo and we’d go to the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls to go to a strip club. Free admission and reasonably priced drinks with stunning strippers. What’s not to like? On the other hand the local strip joint in Buffalo was rough as a bear’s arse with far from premium entertainment. In the early 2000's i spent a weekend in Niagra when i was working in Detroit and my god it was an eye opener. Very very different from a UK strip club and we were so close to ending up in a whole load of trouble. Fun memories of Canadian strip clubs.
We used to drive to a place called the library in Buffalo on a Saturday night and kip in a motel afterwards.Similar story from ten years earlier. The Buffalo Brew Pub was where we used to go (not for strippers). Great wings and free nuts if I remember correctly. Was more than 30 years ago though. We used to drive to a place called the library in Buffalo on a Saturday night and kip in a motel afterwards.
$1.00 drinks, Canadian money accepted at par, women drank for free.
Not even related Ken.They're not really sisters you know
Used to go in there pre-match then get the 123 to the ground. Chose bottles of Newky Brown rather than Burtonwood ales though.Reminds me of the old Manchester Arms, near Vicky Station. Back in the 1970s they had a topless barmaid, who doubled as a stripper who gave shows in one of the rooms. A very small room. I was so shocked I only went in a few times. Piss beer - Burtonwood or Youngers was the choice.
Hard to believe now, but true.
Bloody hell - Rag Week!In my student days I helped organize university rag week with a collection for charity. There'd be a procession of floats parading through the town and we chose "Adam & Eve" as the theme for one. Had no trouble finding a big hairy guy to be Adam but none of the girls wanted to be Eve, so we phoned a local strip club who asked me to come in and pick one. They'd deliver her on the day at no charge if we gave them publicity. Saturday comes and the lass who got out of the car in the bright light of day had aged considerably from the "stunner" I thought I'd seen under the dim lighting of the club. Adam & Eve's mum, it was, but she caught a lot of shillings thrown from the crowd in her cleavage.
