having read further back through the thread where you mentioned 'one or two simpletons' I'd like to clarify who you are referring to?

in fact why not tell me to my face on Sunday, I'm in block 128 just to the left of you, i walk pass the press box on the way to my seat
wear a carnation so i can recognise you

I don't recall you saying anything that would get me annoyed enough to say that - Dr Mick is the one I had in mind when I used the word "simpletons".
If you want me to tell you that to my face, come along on Sunday, I have no problem with that.
But I'm not wearing a carnation, for anyone!
no problem then Stuart
i'm happy to chat anytime, not threaten as andy seems to have it, but i'll never recognise you without the carnation!
i'll be the one in a russian hat if its cold
It came across that way, I'm not taking any sides, I don't read the M.E.N

Have you noticed SB has dodged the biggest and most important issue ?

Muffin or Barm Stuart we need to know.

The Boateng picture has been addressed. Thanks for pointing it out to me

I can't see a blue dot in China on that map, unless Sun Jihai was actually born on Faulkner street in town.

At least he's got the balls to come on here and put his point across, the forum is better for it, I'd be getting a tap on the shoulder, if I came across with that somewhat aggressive post
the balls to come on here?
and call posters knuckle draggers? simpletons?
and what was it Friday night, what would me know about newspapers?

and andy if you are at all suggesting that I was being somewhat aggressive you are barking up the wrong tree

i'm happy to meet with him to discuss what he thinks about my reaction if he feels that i'm either a simpleton or a knuckle dragger
and i always tend to feel passive aggressive when i have my wife, two daughters and son with me as they are in the same block, so if i were you andy i'd leave your presumptions about me to yourself, which was my main beef about Stuart on Friday, and perhaps ask toby about me when you have a sober moment in Munich

and just to clarify for you i find Stuart's articles a good read and fairly accurate, my issue was with some of the ridiculous articles of others which he defended whilst making unfounded judgements about others' abilities to have an opinion

and to be fair, you did ask him to wear a flower for you, so you cant have been that aggressive.

Perhaps I didn't clarify myself on this.
It was a reaction to Dr Mick's inane comments about the process of an article going into a newspaper.
I wasn't saying that people have no right to have an opinion about newspaper articles, or even the way newspapers operate. I have not once challenged anyone who questions the quality of the MEN - they are entitles to think what they want.
But what I was challenging is someone's ill-informed opinion of how the names in the caption were mis-spelled.
I am allowed to express an opinion about the NHS, and how it operates. But if I start telling a heart surgeon that he is carrying out his work all wrong, I would be shot down for it, and quite rightly.
In that case, the surgeon's opinion clearly holds more weight than mine, just as my knowledge of the inner workings of a newspaper carry more weight than someone who doesn't work at one.
Although Dr Mick still appears reluctant to tell us if he really is a journalist, as he claimed. I would be staggered if that was true.
he also clearly hasn't got the balls to reveal his identity, either.

Fair play but it shouldn't take posters on here to bring things like that to your attention, prevention is better than cure.
