No it doesn't. Yet again you are completely wrong.
If this happens "quite often" you won't have any difficulty finding a single instance, will you?
Or are you just making stuff up now, as well as talking from a position of sheer ignorance?
I have very often read stories in the MEN that I'm certain I have already read in the Mirror, and vice versa, almost word for word sometimes. I very often read identical stories from a number of different media outlets. I used to subscribe to News Now and very often the same story, again almost word for word would appear from many different media sources all within a few hours of each other. But if you say that's incorrect then you must be right as journalists never lie.
Threatening me with libel is a bit of a cheap shot Stuart. Next you’ll be running to Peter Spencer to grass me up like you did with the caption person regarding all those spelling mistakes.
I find it amusing that I appear to wind you up so easily. I don’t mean to. It’s nothing personal. I also love the fact that you are so defensive about being a united fan. I actually have no problem with that whatsoever. If you want to be rag, that’s your look-out fella. You go for it. The only issue I have here is a Manchester newspaper, based in Manchester has to employ a united fan to cover City stories. There simply aren’t any City supporting journalists anywhere near Manchester? There simply aren’t any non-united supporting journalists anywhere near the Manchester area who could take a more objective view of MCFC than perhaps a united fan could? No the only journalists for miles and miles around are all united fans. Really?
You don’t need to go searching for ‘ten goal bonanza’ headlines or photos of Boateng if you are looking for any hint of an anti City bias in the MEN. If you need a headline to demonstrate that, how about “Lifelong United fan lands job as City sports writer.” Try that one for size maybe.
Some of your comments on this thread have been really funny . You seem a good egg and jolly good fun. One of my personal favourites so far has been you telling people where you sit at home games and inviting them over for a chat. I’m not entirely sure if I’ve understood you correctly here but appearing to offer out City fans in the press box probably isn't wise at this juncture in your career. How are you going to report on City games if the closest you are allowed to get to the action is sat in your car listening to Cheesy on Radio Manchester?
Anyway that’s me done. Once you start threatening me with libel just for expressing an opinion, I’m out of here.
See you in work tomorrow, mate. It's your turn to get the bacon butties in. hehe.
