Stuart Brennan. MEN.

Here's one for you(Stuart) and the MEN crew,

One for tomorrow's edition.

A positive story about Sheikh Mansour and City.

Seeing as it's tucked away on BM, it needs more public exposure. You never know, it might make United warm to the idea of safe standing at OT as well. ;-)

City get closer to establishing Safe Standing <a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=293484" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=293484</a>

BTW. Credit to the MEN. They did print that snippet. It's in tonight's online edition. And before you accuse me of even more fantasies, the person I spoke to at the MEN this morning didn't know about it. Whether it was already in the pipeline, who knows? But he seemed pretty grateful about the info I gave him.

It's also amazing how certain posters demand proof that there are United fans who think we are anti-United and pro-City, and when I provide it, with minimal effort, it gets ignored, as if it never happened.
Yet more proof that the "MUEN" brigade only see what they want to see, and hear what they want to hear. Whenever anything crops up that contradicts their entrenched opinions, they put fingers in ears and shout very loud.

it is, I pass it every single home game, I'll look out for you Stuart
having read further back through the thread where you mentioned 'one or two simpletons' I'd like to clarify who you are referring to?

in fact why not tell me to my face on Sunday, I'm in block 128 just to the left of you, i walk pass the press box on the way to my seat
wear a carnation so i can recognise you
At least he's got the balls to come on here and put his point across, the forum is better for it, I'd be getting a tap on the shoulder, if I came across with that somewhat aggressive post
the balls to come on here?
and call posters knuckle draggers? simpletons?
and what was it Friday night, what would me know about newspapers?

and andy if you are at all suggesting that I was being somewhat aggressive you are barking up the wrong tree

i'm happy to meet with him to discuss what he thinks about my reaction if he feels that i'm either a simpleton or a knuckle dragger
and i always tend to feel passive aggressive when i have my wife, two daughters and son with me as they are in the same block, so if i were you andy i'd leave your presumptions about me to yourself, which was my main beef about Stuart on Friday, and perhaps ask toby about me when you have a sober moment in Munich

and just to clarify for you i find Stuart's articles a good read and fairly accurate, my issue was with some of the ridiculous articles of others which he defended whilst making unfounded judgements about others' abilities to have an opinion

And you are surprised ? :)

Not entirely sure to what you referring. Is the "snippet" the safe standing story, or something else?
Because the safe standing story is in today's MEN as well as online - I passed it on to our news desk yesterday, although I suspect they were already aware

You should've seen the religion thread, Stuart.

And the one about Madeleine McCann.....

I don't recall you saying anything that would get me annoyed enough to say that - Dr Mick is the one I had in mind when I used the word "simpletons".
If you want me to tell you that to my face, come along on Sunday, I have no problem with that.
But I'm not wearing a carnation, for anyone!

no problem then Stuart
i'm happy to chat anytime, not threaten as andy seems to have it, but i'll never recognise you without the carnation!
i'll be the one in a russian hat if its cold

The Boateng picture has been addressed. Thanks for pointing it out to me
