Stuart Pearce

Did great for those last 8 games when keegan bailed, stuck James up front v boro which to this day still makes me giggle, got us playing some nice stuff the year after but simply ran out of ideas.
It got to the point of setting a team out not to concede and when we did we had no plan B, and not scoring at home from new year sort of ruined it for him.
But I'll always like pearce, a warrior as a player and whenever he wore the blue shirt he gave everything he had, hope he does the business for you guys going back to his 'home'.

Forest looking very ropey at the back
today. Two very similar goals conceded. One goal? Okay, that can happen. But a second one, within a couple of minutes? That's careless.

Shouldered the blame for the board refusing to spend any money despite having the smallest squad, did wonders with what he did have.

Thought they might get promotion even in spite of having him as manager but it looks like he's dragged them down to his level, just like he did with us.

I've always like Pearce but he is obviously limited,he would probably make an excellent pundit, get rid of the Rag clique that currently monopolises and pollutes the screen.

Always be thankful for Hart!

He is the reason I no longer go to games after 25 years of seasonj tickets. I know we had limited options for players when he was at the helm, but he was baffingly inept and should have just stuck to being an electrician. Beanie?? Fuck off. Piped chants?? Fuck off twice. Samaras on the left (on the pitch even!).

Sorry about bumping such an old thread but just watching a documentary about him on Sky and it talked about the game where he put David James up front for the last 10 minutes against Middlesbrough in 2005 to try and get into Europe. I’d completely forgotten about that.
