Stuart Pearce

You'd completely forgot about that!?!? Still gives me cold shivers.. He was a clueless fucker.. his beanie doll was a better manager
Yep.
I was at that match as well!!

The thing I remember most about Pearce was going week after week in 2007 and not seeing a goal from New Year until the end of the season.

I thought that was hilarious, it was one of those funny stories that our history is full of. It is up there with being sent off for walking aggressively, heading the ball out of the keeper hands to score a goal and running the ball to the corner flag to ensure relegation!

And conceding at Sheff Utd...to a bunch of Blue balloons...

i had miss fortune of hearing him other week talking about englands young team well none of them would've made if if he hadnt played them in under 21's . shamsing lad , great footballer all the cliches

He was on the radio saying that he told James to be more of a target man and hold the ball up but he decided to play as a #10 instead when he went up front.

Also Macken I think it was was fuming about putting him on as he was on the bench

The New Year's Day game was the only game I missed - I saw 8 league goals at home that season. The last win I saw was mid-November. How did we stay up?!!
