If you stand back and think about it, you wouldnt end your sentance or paragraph with a word like stupendous.

You would only start with a word like this..


Also a big giveaway to me is the emotion and excitement in the voice, only someone with emotional feelings towards the club would say it like this.
In his commentary following the goal he is completely overcome with joy and emotion..

At not one moment in that interview does he refer specifically to the "stupendous" comment. He glosses over it very casually and his exact words are "I swear you'll never see anything like it again; or something like that".

It's gob-smackingly obvious that it's Quinn!

I can't believe this is till being debated!...it's Martin Tyler,people who think its Quinn should replay the moment until they realise they are completely wrong. I live in Dublin and no chance Quinn said it,absolutely no chance. He was interviewed over here and said it wasn't him as he didn't have "stupendous" in his vocab!...why would he say he was lost for words after saying a word like Stupendous?...I love football debates but this one shouldn't be one...it's Tyler.
