"Stupendous!"

Confused as to why Tyler would give an interview about this if Quinn had said it, but what do I know.

Tyler gave an interview about saying the word 'stupendous'? Was it with Paxman on Newsnight? Was past my bedtime so must have missed it.

Was posted on here t'other day, clips of the commentary and Tyler talking about what it was like to be there and did he prepare the things he said etc

An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition...

Only the Quinites have even bothered to establish the proposition.
Game, Set and Match.

No one is doubting that Tyler says all words up to Stupendous or, indeed that Quinn says his bit after the Word Stupendous before Tyler speaks again. The argument is based on who said "Stupendous". The interview with Tyler is about the words he used (and didn't use) immediately after the goal. No mention of the word "Stupendous" at all.

Re: stupendous

Quinn 85 posters Tyler 56 posters.

I was so bored I added it up.

60% Quinn 40% Tyler

My vote.....It doesn't sound like either of them and there are newspaper quotes attributing the word to both of them, hence the confusion.

But listen to it again....the whole thing. First time imagine it's Quinn, now imagine it's Tyler.

If that's Tyler you have to believe that he tails of, leaves a gap and then suddenly screams from out of the blue "Stupendous"

Whereas if you believe it's Quinn you have to believe that's how he starts his sentence.

Given that everything after the word "Stupendous" (Quinn) is at the same level as the word itself but that everything before (Tyler) wasn't..

The majority are correct. It's Quinn.

Re: stupendous

Sounds like we have narrowed it down to either Niall Tyler or Martin Quinn...

No its not. I will bet anyone £100... If and when we get confirmation that it's Tyler.
