Stupid little things that bug you

Talking of names, my granddaughter had three changes of surname before she was even 18-months old.
My son's partner registered the birth using just her own surname so, Hollie May HERsurname. When my son complained it was changed by deed poll to Hollie May HERsurname-SONsurname. The couple had already separated, soon she remarried and took his name so now it became Hollie May SONsurname-NEWsurname.

Here’s an idea for you. Perhaps we should all be all allocated a number at birth and as soon as we are old enough, chose our own name

Particularly when you are expected to put a - in between them Kaz. The other one is kids given first names eg Connor, that could be its Surname. The amount of time through life that persons going to get asked and what’s your first name Mr Connor.

When it comes to names i also think of the spelling of them, some ridiculous spelling going on and also on their wedding day they have to stand up and give their full names no matter how daft they are, lol
