Stupid little things that bug you

That's a nuisance.

Have you by any chance been considering any remodelling in the front garden? If so this a great opportunity to have someone else pay for it.
Spot on Doc!. Changed the layout of some steps and had a much nicer (and expensive) solid hardwood gate. Driver's father paid cash for everything without quibble.
Police attended but took no further action. The father is a well known local businessman and a Worshipful Mason (just saying!).

Marvellous opportunism. I take it as mason he did the stone work. :-)

Having to listen to some shite opera music (Tchaikovsky in the 6th symphony it defo was not) for 28 minutes whilst waiting to speak with an actual human being at HMRC for a self-assessment process that only took 2 minutes to complete once connected.

So very true!.
My house is very close to a junction and nearly all drivers turning right into my road cut the corner, sometimes in a very big way and there are regular near misses. One young lady was so far on the wrong side she almost collided with a car coming down the road, she avoided this by turning into my garden, destroying half the hedge, garden gate and several concrete posts.

A bit of good news, it certainly improved the look of the citroens front end :-)

Sleep with one eye open, never do more than 30 in a thirty zone and always go for a piss in pubs in a group. ;)

Gardeners World, Monty and the team moaning (like Chris Packham) that it's been too dry in UK and all our gardens are now suffering, well let me tell you something Monty, it's not too dry here pal, after 2 hot days it's returned to wet/cloudy weather, last weekend didn't stop raining at all. So Monty, if you want some rain here's an idea, move north you git!

I can only remember six rainy days since April. It’s hardly rained all Spring+Summer.
