Stupid little things that bug you

This is the wrong thread because it ain't little and it's really annoying me but I don't know where else to put it.
I've just come across a bbc online site that is in Pigdin English. Deliberately in pigdin English.
This is a snippet.....
If number of military volunteers officer reduce, dem fit call up her number. Di lower di number be, di more likely say dem go recruit am into army.

It says its a news service for Nigeria , if so, why is my 91 yr old mam paying £176 for this shite to be done and second, it's not even accurate. Surely it's de lower not di lower ?

The bbc is just huge waste of money.

Football clubs/fans who just copy other clubs/fans with chants and songs.

Sheff Wednesday here singing ‘Hi Ho Silver Lining’ pre-game. That’s Wolves, Villa and Weds who sing that before the game… anyone else?

Worst one of ours was when we copied the Firmino chant for Zinchenko and still sang the Portuguese ‘sim senhor’ bit from the Firmino chant even though Zinchenko is Ukrainian.
 
Kids walking around supermarkets in their dirty football kits after their morning game.
The worst thing is they are still, wearing their football boots. My old man would mad at us as kids if we walking around on hard surfaces with our boots on. I guess refs dont test the sharpness of the studs any more before a match.

I've already confirmed that itcwas genuine.
My point is why are the bbc paying staff to write the reports.

Especially when my 91yr old mum is forced to pay £174 a year for a licence. Until a few years back she got it free, perhaps if they were run properly like a normal business has to be, they wouldn't waste so much money.
 
Also on football chants again…

Chants where the originators have made it up because their club/player/manager’s name rhymes with the lyrics of the song, then another set of fans pinch the song for their club/player/manager but the name doesn’t rhyme with the lyrics.

Fucking right as well. Only a **** would call a woman "fatty" in a workplace and should be disciplined if they did. Obesity is a life choice though, baldness is not. How about people try to not comment on the appearance of others and mind their own fucking business?

Where does mocking or abusing someone for their appearance go from being a laugh to not being acceptable?

Why should poking fun at someone's baldness be considered any different than, for example, saying a female colleague has small boobs? Both are unnecessary in workplace culture and can cause distress to the individuals involved.

Do your job. Get along with your colleagues. Have a laugh. But don't be a **** about it.

A long time ago when I worked in an office, we went through a phase of whenever a female member of staff walked through, we called out random numbers.
These numbers referred to the number of pints of beer you would need to spend the night with said lady.
Different times.
Happy days
