Sturridge interview on SSN [Merged]

If Sturridge wanted to do his talking , he should have done it whilst he was here ...... to Mark Hughes ..... and to the fans , who were kept in the dark.

I can't be arsed listening to anything he's got to say now!
 
He seemed alright.

One comment that confused me, "Carlo Ancellotti has handled many world class players, Kaka, Pato....".
Pato?? He ain't world class.
 
He also mentioned that 'any young player would want to play in CL'.

Thats fair enough, but you have to estabilsh yourself as a first team player first.


How has signing a young unknown (Didn't play that much for us) make it on to SSN. There was no fee either. Why the press conference?

Must have been a slow news day.
 
And no way did Ancelotti sign him either.Unless they knew he was coming about three managers ago.
We get slated for shit like that but no-one in the meeja's picked up on it.
 
Thick as pig shit and interview came across as his advisors telling him what to say to each question that was asked. Got a little laugh out of the "I'll become a man at Chelsea" and "Champions League football was a big factor in me coming here" parts.
