Suarez - banned for 4 months (page 74)

Re: Suarez

Anyone who went out to bite someone not once, not twice, but on three separate occasions they would be looking at a custodial sentence.
The Home Office should revoke his visa, on the grounds that he is a danger in the workplace.

Re: Suarez

There are 2 issues:

1) How long FIFA ban him for, and what competitions it covers

2) The image of LFC. Are Liverpool really going to retain him as their No. 9 next season? Can't see it.

Liverpool are very proud of their history. Shankly, the Boot Room management, Hillsboro campaign. They can't have that and embrace a player who plays beyond the boundaries of the game. The biting is the least of the issues for me. Shocking, but not really dangerous. It's the diving that does my head in.

Will that stop Liverpool's name being dragged through the mud?

It wouldn't drag our name through the mud regardless. He did it last time in a Liverpool shirt and it didn't affect the club's reputation.

I do too. He's not safe to have on a pitch with other players.

What if Chiellini gets an infection or gets something like meningitis from the saliva?

This just confirms he did bite.

The Italian lad as looking away from him when it happened and Suarez came at him from behind. The reaction of the Italian was immediate and exactly that of someone who had been bitten.

Bye bye Suarez, think he'll be banned from world football for a considerable time.

Hope the British press and footballers are proud of last seasons iconic player!

I must admit the sight of that cheating, diving, biting, arsehole picking up his player of the season awards, after he'd missed the start of the season for biting a fellow pro, left me cold. I hope they're all suitably embarassed about turning a blind eye to his twattishness. Fantastic example to our youngsters that was.

Shame they weren't playing Belgium and he did that to Kompany. He would have been smashed to pieces.

I'd like to think our captain is smarter than that. Anybody else playing for another team, and i'll be all for it.

Laugh my bollocks off at the second!! He was convicted of racism and biting someone and he dives all over the place and the Mickeys defended and defend him to the hilt.I think we all know the answer to that one!

Of course they can have him as their No. 9! They're quite experienced at pretending what they want to be true is the reality.

Joking aside, I can't think of any other profession where you would keep your job for biting on 3 separate occasions.

If you did this 3 times out on the street I reckon you would get a custodial sentence
