Suarez - banned for 4 months (page 74)

There are 2 issues:

1) How long FIFA ban him for, and what competitions it covers

2) The image of LFC. Are Liverpool really going to retain him as their No. 9 next season? Can't see it.

Liverpool are very proud of their history. Shankly, the Boot Room management, Hillsboro campaign. They can't have that and embrace a player who plays beyond the boundaries of the game. The biting is the least of the issues for me. Shocking, but not really dangerous. It's the diving that does my head in.
Marvellous strikes again.....

Re Suarez bite, if found guilty, usually FIFA suspensions relate to national team but sanctions can be "all football related activity".

Maybe they will also throw Uruguay out and England would qualify for the knock-out stages for finishing seco.... Oh

Anyone who went out to bite someone not once, not twice, but on three separate occasions they would be looking at a custodial sentence.
The Home Office should revoke his visa, on the grounds that he is a danger in the workplace.
Absolutely spot on.

My "favourite" part of the incident were the video shots of him checking/grasping his teeth. I know he meant it to look like he was just elbowed (which is why he bit Chellieni in the first place—same thing the bully does in the schoolyard: throw the first light punch so the victim is caught for the return lash) but it made him seem more guilty.

Joking aside, I can't think of any other profession where you would keep your job for biting on 3 separate occasions.

If you did this 3 times out on the street I reckon you would get a custodial sentence

I can't think of any profession that you would keep your job after just one bite of another person, unless you are bush guide sucking blood from a snake wound.

There will still be some on here prepared to chuck their morals in the bin and sign him 'in a heartbeat' though..............
He's worthless

He got a 7 game ban for biting at Ajax, and I think Liverpool bought him whilst serving that. Then he got an 8 game ban for racial abuse, and then the 10 game ban for biting Ivanovic.

Liverpool will have to release him.

Hahaha, not a fucking chance will that happen.
