If someone walked up to me in the street and bit me, I would think that person would have mental issues, so no this is not normal.

If someone walked up to me in the street and bit me, they'd not be biting anything ever again.

Re: Suarez

A few years ago I did jury service and one of the cases was assault on a prison officer by a prisoner involving several bites , and we were told by an expert witness that the human bite transfers more dangerous bacteria than any animal bite and requires a lot of antibiotic treatment.
We were also told that , even in prison , biting is seen as the lowest , most despicable action and that we were to consider it the worst aspect of the assault.
Just heard someone on the radio saying Suarez needs someone putting their arm round him!!! Would you ???!?!

My mates uncle was spat at in a fight once and got meningitis. Nearly died.

Human saliva is filthy.

Just lick the back of your hand now, leave it five seconds and then sniff it - it stinks!

Taken from the Mayo Clinic site (the NHS site has a Similiar write up):

Human bites can be as dangerous as or even more dangerous than animal bites because of the types of bacteria and viruses contained in the human mouth. If someone cuts his or her knuckles on another person's teeth, as might happen in a fight, this is also considered a human bite.

If you sustain a human bite that breaks the skin:

  • Stop the bleeding by applying pressure with a clean, dry cloth.
Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water.
Apply an antibiotic cream to prevent infection.
Apply a clean bandage. Cover the affected area with a nonstick bandage.
    Seek emergency medical care.
If you haven't had a tetanus shot within five years, your doctor may recommend a booster. In this case, you should have the booster within 48 hours of the injury.

Biting is just a disgusting thing to do. It is just animalistic. it is like all your humanity and conscious thought has gone and in that moment you are nothing but an animal trying to cause as much harm as possible.
