Suarez - banned for 4 months (page 74)

Re: Cannibal at it again....

That might actually be the moment that keeps him at Liverpool. Not sure Real or Barca will want to be associated with him now.

The PL will pussy out and claim it's not their jurisdiction so can't ban him (despite that being untrue)
I can see them trying that one unless the actual rules are reported along with the story of the bite to take away any chance of them getting away with it.

Premier League Handbook Season 2013/14 said:
3.2 The Player agrees that he shall not:
...
3.2.5 knowingly or recklessly do write or say anything or omit to do anything which is
likely to bring
the Club or the game of football into disrepute cause the Player or the
Club to be in breach of the Rules or cause damage to the Club or its officers or
employees or any match official. Whenever circumstances permit the Player shall
give to the Club reasonable notice of his intention to make any contributions to the
public media in order to allow representations to be made to him on behalf of the
Club if it so desires;
It's part of his contract.

Im surprised that so many have fallen for the love in. Liverpool put all their eggs in one basket last season and fucked up royally. If it wasnt for their gung ho style of play, Suarez would have been nowhere near top scorer (or PFA player of the year...a joke in itself btw).

No surprise all his goals came in games against the bottom 10 (5 even). Its also no surprise he didnt turn up against top 5 (10) teams either.

Liverpools naivety cost them the league. When they play a more balanced style (which they will have to), Suarez' goals will fade.

His disciplinary record doesnt reflect his attitude or antics on the pitch. Could and should have been sent off at least 3 times last season.

**** of a man and wildly overrated.
you cant be serious
absolutely 1000% ...and for all the reasons listed in my post

Re: Suarez

Ramirez was a **** trying to pull Chiellini's shirt and hide the obvious bite mark

I'm willing to wager that he gets absolutely no ban, off anyone. The PL will pussy out and claim it's not their jurisdiction so can't ban him (despite that being untrue), then FIFA will claim they don't do retrospective bans. He will get off completely free
No he will get a long ban. This is the world cup and seen by the biggest audience in football. No way FIFA can let someone act so shameless and get away with it at a world cup. This is not the FA. As for Suarez he is not even one of the big stars in the tournament.
Can't agree. Bureaucrats love making excuses to not make controversial decisions, they will hide behind anything they can imo

Re: Suarez

The chief suspects for the damage to Cheillini's shoulder are being spoken to.
