Suarez racial slur against Evra

This so called racial slur, is it worse than breaking a player's leg?, i know it's worse than murder these days, according to the law of the land.

Evra has history in claiming racial abuse. There was an incident with Liverpool's Steve Finnan a few years ago when no further action was taken. Then there was the post-match incident at Chelsea in 2008 when he accused a Chelsea Groundsman of racial abuse. The groundsman was cleared.

He also claimed he was subject to racial abuse from fans in his native Senegal over his decision to represent France instead of his country of birth. Sopunds like the boy who cries wolf.

This. As soon as it came on the TV that the FA were investigating a complaint made by Patrice Evra I knew what it was going to be and knew it would be a load of tripe like his last few.

This time it may well be true but he has tried it too many times now for people to believe or even care.

Firstly, it wasn't Evra that actually claimed abuse against Steve Finnan.

Secondly, he was backed up by others including our assistant manager, and our then goalkeeping coach against the Chelsea groundsman, but it's obviously just incredibly hard to prove.

Wasn't hard to prove that Evra acted like a dick at Chelsea though was it? He got a 4-match ban for his actions. And, as we and the rest of the football world know, your officials always tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Haha, I don't know who I'd believe less out of of that lot.

2 incidents in 6 years, one of which was allegedly by a groundsman, and backed up by Mike Phelan, Richard Hartis and two United players.

It's word against word. You think he was bullshitting, I don't. And we all know that FA disciplinary investigations get everything spot on.

Of the other things you mentioned, if you want to cf;

and

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2006/mar/07/newsstory.sport5

-- Sun Oct 16, 2011 1:45 pm --

Oh, and for the record;

The commission found that Bethell conducted himself in a 'disorderly fashion' and that his language 'had been abusive and provocative'.

That was the verdict when it came to the Chelsea groundsman. Problem is he wasn't under FA jurisdiction so they couldn't do anything. Evra was - and whatever he was told, his reaction was over the top - so he was banned.

So in other words if someone annoys him he pulls the race card out quicker than Rodney King
