Re: With the saddest of hearts Please read pg 62

I spoke to TCIB about this last week and he said I should put it in here.
I know this is only a small example of Sue's wonderful kindness but its something I'll never forget.

When I first posted on BM that I was starting up a football website she added me on Facebook. At first I didnt know who she was (I only knew her then as Bluebird) and that same evening I got a message from her.
Sue wanted to know if I'd like any contact details of fellow blues with the idea that it might help get the website off the ground.

I remember being surprised. I wasnt used to people - never mind a stranger (at that point) - being so nice.

She then sent me a very detailed list of blues, complete with notes on each on why they might be useful to contact. It must have taken her ages to do.

In time I got to know Sue on Facebook and on here but sadly never met her. I wish I did. But back then I hardly knew her on here either. Yet she saw a blue was trying to do something, went to the trouble of finding out my real name, adding me, then compiled a lengthy (and invaluable) list of contacts.
Why? Because a blue could be helped.

I'll never forget that. It felt like I was being welcomed into the fold by a wonderful and warm lady.

God bless you Sue. I'll think of you always.

Random question, I'm sure she had told me she'd already renewed, what will happen to her Season Card?
