Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

We have never not been in control of our borders.

Literally.

The solution you want could have been applied by any government since 1900. (This is an arbitrary date. It could have been 2000BC)

Who will you vote for when you finally realise that the “illegal” immigrants crossing the channel are a direct result of the Tories not allowing people to apply for as on foreign soil?

Your golden dream of zero immigrants ever will never happen as they are crucial to our economy.

I understand this and I wouldn't mind if the government (Labour or Tory) massively expanded our infrastructure to cater for 85 million people - great. But they don't. And I cant get a Drs appointment, it takes me 2 hours to get into Manchester (when google maps says 45 minutes) and my kids are in classes of 33 - several of whom don't speak English) which isn't really on, is it?

So why not campaign for that?

if those are your problems ask yourself why the Govt hasn't solved then from say 2015? Oh and despite assurances there is a shortage of homes and affordable homes. no upgrade to trans Pennine rail and little or no upgrade to roads.

Another simple point I would make is if you are looking at increasing to 85m people how do you increase capacity by stopping people from coming here? If what you have is inadequate and there are insufficient people (and money) to make a difference for the 60 odd million how do you progress things?

Really!

To actually campaign for that in 2022 would have my P45 handed to me the next day (I actually keep it a secret that I am pro-Tory, where I work!) Sunak/Bravermn are my only hope - a small Star Wars joke for those who don't know Rishi is a massive Star Wars fanboy.

Is this you admitting you’re a racist?

erm, I was super-happy when Rishi Sunak became the Prime Minister (it should have happened 7 weeks ago). I was jumping up and down when I heard he had recalled Suella Braverman to the Home Secretary job, so basically I don't think I'm a racist.

So what is it about the dinghy people you don’t like?

Seriously, for a moment, this going to be the lefts problem for the next two years - how can they accuse people who voted Brexit (for whatever reason) of being racist when the PM is a person of colour (as is his Home Secretary) and they both were ardent Brexiteers!

I have already made myself quite clear on this:

"Government officials believe around 60% of migrants making Channel crossings each day now are Albanian"

Is Albania an unsafe place or are they economic migrants?

Ah, I see your game.

Draw people in and then question how you can be racist as you’ve no problem with a British Indian the Tory members wouldn’t have appointed as PM.

Fortunately, it won’t get to that as you’ll implode as a party by Xmas.

Good luck x
