What a bloody summer that was; Tarnat, Bosvelt, Seaman, Sinclair, Sibierski, Reyna, McManaman and James. very decent summer.
Maybe it was the period in my life or I dont know, but the team around the 2003 era was amongst my favourites

Sinclair was one of those players who I always thought of as a City player. I know we got him eventually but I mean before that. It's hard to explain. The best example I can think of is Dean Saunders who I thought would have fit us perfectly.
Considering Sinclair's a blue I don't think it needs explaining too much, still remember how much he was buzzing when he scored in the derby.

I don't mean that. I'm on about players who I always thought would just suit us. Tommy Johnson being another example, maybe Robbie Keane. Yep. Thatcher was definitely summer 2004 along with Danny Mills. Pearce was promoted that summer as Keegan's number 2 and those signings were said to be influenced by him. That man has a lot to answer forCriminal!! you missed Tarnat and Seaman!! and Thatcher was 2004 im sure

James was deffo a January signing, 2004, after Spunky Seaman had retired.
Arnie was signed too, because James was cup tied. Played in the Spurs 3 down / won 4-3 game and the loss at the swamp a few days later
