You said we would not be getting anyone this window had we got Maguire but we would because we would be replacing Sane the fact we are doing it in a relatively cheap way or in your view is neither here nor there not the same as what you said.

You where saying we wouldnt need to buy anyone implying no business now your saying we would not need to buy anyone so we would spend 100 million on some one.Not sure how spending that amount would fit with upgrading a back up since a player costing that would not be a back up player.

Finally you seemed to be dismissive in a earlier post of this transfer window yet we do not know what will happen lots of rumours of us ITK suggesting we are not just going to get the key signings we need but very good players and even quality players in positions we are not as weak in such as midfield
and striker.

Okay i will start again, If we would have bought Maguire we would most likely have run with 3 decent CB`s and 2 youth, no need for Ottamendi that would have freed up a foreign spot, no need for Angelino, if that player was of enough quality no need for Zincenko `some would say Mendy` there is nothing to say we could not afford to do the wages or fee`s just that we did not want to.
That would have seen us entering this transfer window needing nothing, but need is not want,
Covid hit us and player values dropped,including all our youth which was going to make us good money, top players or their agents decided to stay put so not spending on Maguire will save us money that we can spend on back up players at a better price, since we can not get the big names this season.
Stones, Sane leaving or who ever else, is immaterial we will cover that bridge when it arises, we may even make money but not getting Maguire may well be a blessing, as we have already changed who we are looking at

Slower slightly than the Sterling we bought maybe, but i watch all the pacy Strikers in Belgium that were interesting EPL clubs and this lad had the best first touch, it maybe because he is good with both feet, that sort of player always seems to be faster at everything

I agree with him, we are in a position were we can, but who? those that are worth it are not moving, maybe in the hope that Barca or Real will recover for next season, but Barca`s president said only this week that their crisis might last 3 or 4 years
