It's chucking it down here in the leafy suburbs of Timperley

Come the revolution the leafy suburbs of Timperley will be the first to be defenestrated.

Same here in East Didsbury ...... it's really lashing down , and it's not stopping either , very windy too ...... just waiting for one of two things to happen , either my conservatory roof to cave in , or my car to be washed away down the A34!

Sunbathing here in Northwich.

Although that might be something to do with whatever's emanating from the various Chemical works.

Clear skies here but it's dropped a tad too. Currently 16c here at Paphos towers. Not bad for midnight. (What time do I put my clock back again?)

Has anybody informed Michael Fish that there is a storm on the way?
1987 Fish dropped the biggest bollock in meterological history by saying ''a woman has just phoned the BBC saying she had heard a hurricane was on its way, i can tell her now no such thing will happen''
That night the worse storm since the1700s hit Britaincausing untold damage
Have they got it right this time or is it an over reaction, Sky reporting it like its going to be the end of the world as we know it

Read the "Signal and the Noise" by Nate Silver - he tells you all about the science and the media psychology of weather reporting.
