Went to the Falklands on an HMS, through the roaring forties, no fucker surely has ever experienced wind and seas like that, unless you are Scott or Shackleton? Onto South Georgia, the wind and horrendous seas continued, but add in icebergs, snow and the most ungodly sub-zero temperatures. It was fucking magnificent.

South Georgia is the most beautiful place I have ever witnessed. Untouched beauty.

South Georgia and Shackleton deserves a thread all its own.

Untouched apart from 1435 Flight's rug that the Herc boys dropped off, some years ago. Wonder if they ever got it back?
