Sunday/Monday Storm

Something like 45 mph winds forecast for the south coast. Best to stay indoors in that sort of weather, but some numpties are bound to venture out.

Really looking forward to being in London on Monday so I can get all the Southern softies take on it first hand.

I got stranded down there in 2007 - all the railway lines were down because of the wind.

It was like something out of World War Z.

Without the Zombies, obviously.

Thunder and lightening and shit loads of rain in bristol for the last hour or so... it will keep the carrot crunchers off the streets.

Has anybody informed Michael Fish that there is a storm on the way?
1987 Fish dropped the biggest bollock in meterological history by saying ''a woman has just phoned the BBC saying she had heard a hurricane was on its way, i can tell her now no such thing will happen''
That night the worse storm since the1700s hit Britaincausing untold damage
Have they got it right this time or is it an over reaction, Sky reporting it like its going to be the end of the world as we know it

The worst part of it was the football special train was cancelled and we had to go all the way to Ipswich and back on a shitty replacement bus.

Actually the worst part of it was that the game was in fucking Plymouth.

Dunno about that. I can remember going to Ipswich one Saturday. Then Plymouth on Tuesday ( postponed ) Wednesday and Saturday but I'm sure that was a different year.

I clearly remember the bus to Ipswich after the storms because of the various blown over trees etc. on the way out of the window.
