Congrats to Arsenal on winning the title. We're not good enough to stay with them. They're different class to the rest of the league.

Disgusting lack of effort from Haaland and Foden tonight. Better second half overall from City and good to see Rodri get through 45 minutes. Doku started well but faded badly. 4 points from Forest and Sunderland away in 5 days isn't too bad. Needed to beat Chelsea and Brighton neither of which will be easy.
Donnarumma made some important saves and Gvardiol was our most potent attacking threat - which emphasises how poor Haaland, Foden and Cherki were tonight.

Would've liked to have seen a proper replay of the challenge on Gvardiol which knocked him off balance for his header. A bit conspicuous in there absence though it seems.

Rodri is back.

That is the most important factor in all of this. He was excellent when he came on. He will get better and so will we. Sunderland were very fortunate not to be on the end of a heavy beating .

Haaland was non existent but cant expect him to score every week.

To be fair, he spent most of the match being wrestled by Mukiele.

Need a proper striker on the bench, Haaland is probably knackered as been a huge drop off in the last month or so. Surely there is an experienced journeyman striker willing to be a bit part starter.
Cant get Semenyo in fast enough as goals win games and Savinho yet again proving he cannot shoot.
But we were out muscled and bullied, not helped by Peps starting 11 with to many attackers and far too weak in midfield.
Another shocking ref who has previous against us, when will the club put in a formal complaint about the thuggery going unpunished game after game.

Back to back worst performances in a City shirt. Probably needs a rest.
Gvardiol was more of a threat from LB.

Feels like a defeat that absolutely sickening. Great effort from the team but yet another opposition playing out their skins against us. It’s out of our hands now.

Fair play to Sunderland, they deserved a goal in the first half because we looked like we didn’t even want to be there.

Second half we deserved to win but again, Haaland has to press that goal keeper so much more. The one time he did, he booted it out for a throw in. Said this once as well, Foden should not be playing in overly physical games. He can’t hack it and never has been able to. He was awful today

Ref had a good game surprisingly but don’t know why he’s blowing the whistle so early? Strange behaviour.

Other than the glaringly obvious, thought we saved it in the second half after that horrible first. Great to see Rodri back and looking like he was before the knee injury. Savinho looked better but still can’t finish and Reijnders, what are you doing with that chance at the end. Onwards and upwards lads, still think that’s a good point!

foden isnt the only one that cant handle those physical games so strange to single out him

Cherki, Sav also both hugely struggle with them as well. ....reijnders as well
