Sunderland need a draw to help us win PL

talking to a liverpool fan yesterday he was saying that the previous times the league has went to the final day of the season involving utd they have lost, think he said two or three times, blackburn was one cant remember others..

A Martin O'Neill team wont roll over. The only rags who might play are O'Shea and Bardsley and Bardsley is the one I wouldn't trust.

Sunderland away on the last day is a very tough fixture. If we're within 2 points of them on the last day, we'll have a great chance

West ham away they didn't win the league
Boor away they won the league

Why does this thread exist? There is no point hoping wether Sunderland,Swansea,Everton de rail United or wether Tom Dick or Harry decides to play well,IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN-Ffs we are chasing them because we dropped points @ the above grounds and lost @ Everton. If we dont win it then so what? it will be sooner than later-some people who come on here wanna get a grip,it was always the same when we were battling Relegation -people wanting other teams to help us,thanks to our awful performances.City have played well this year, better than in the last couple of seasons,so stop hoping/moaning and get behind the lads! BTW Im not a rag nor WUM !!

In '68, they lost at the swamp to Sunderland on the last day of the season, whilst we were beating Barcodes 4-3. Turned out we didn't need any favours that day, but still.

-- Tue Apr 17, 2012 5:20 pm --

In '68, they lost at the swamp to Sunderland on the last day of the season, whilst we were beating Barcodes 4-3. Our toughest game is at sportsdirect stadium while all of their games should be a challenge. I can't seem to understand why so many more aged fans than myself seem to believe sunderlands team will roll over to them. They've been collecting scalpes all season since oneil came in. I really hope we get a favour.

I reckon it will go down to goal difference. We beat them, and they have 3 other medium difficulty fixtures, all of which they have potential to draw.

Toughest game is against them. They beat us last time at the Etihad and only need a draw. Will be interesting to see if they try and shut up shop or go for it. Then there's Toon away, and they're playing for the CL.

No easy games for either team at this stage of the season.
