Sunderland Post Match

Piss poor decision by the ref not to book Jones for the Aguero goal, the yellow he got for the foul on Silva would have been ref then.

Sorry pal... totally disagree. If Pellers hadn't changed it, Sunderland would have eventually scored. Thought we looked much more solid once Fernando came on and think that change won us the game

But it's all about opinions...

Agree. He hardly got the ball tbf and with the way Sunderland were playing in the last 10 mins or so before half time a change was needed and he was the player I would've taken off for fernando. He ended up breaking up play a few times too.

Well, we wondered how the players would react to the Pep news & the answer was " we don't want to run anymore & can't be arsed"

Er no, I wanted us to win. They were really really poor and so were we. With the quality in our squad I expect much better and Pellegrini must demand and deliver much better. Massive under-performance. Square pegs, round holes again.
These games come round in the season, they say the best teams can play shit and win I'm over the moon with the result.

Daft post, they worked hard against a side who were rested. Absolutely brilliant effort.

Yes 3 points but that is the worst we've been for quite some time. Very very lucky. Sunderland, aided and abetted by the ref, outplayed us completely.

well done city sometimes you just have to go toe to toe with a team , its what the premier is all about, looks like we have a great spirit

This!!!!

Or was it really that we were just shit and made them look much better than they are?

Its worth remembering that in addition to the extra games we've played this year Sunderland haven't had a game for ten days. Its an excellent result considering.
It's a fantastic result considering how we played. Possibly one of the worst performances ending in a win, since the Pearce era. We've played better than that plenty of times & lost by several goals.

Credit to the defenders.

Manchester City, one nil winners. Rejoice.
Correct, that somehow feels like it could be a very big result, we seem to have stopped conceding, 4 in the last (unbeaten) 7 games, we rarely win 1-0, and despite a poor performance, we've won away.

We need to forget the Pep stuff, and concentrate on the football, Harts comments were quite telling I thought, despite the huge distraction, they're focussed on winning.
