Yeah, that is a possible reason. But still, I don't think that's the only thing that lies behind. I think that Lescott would have played a bit more if that was the only reason.

Makes perfect sense to me, play Kolo twice a week, more than adequate defender, and if he gets a knock or an injury we have lost nothing and Lescott comes back in.

I think you may be right mate, Kolo is playing good at the moment so i'm not going to complain about him being preferred above Lescott.
