Anyone truly think he'll get sacked soon, like within a couple more defeats? I can't see it. I think the Glazer's won't want to be seen to be rash in the way they handle such matters, because it sets a precedent then for future appointments. Also, who would they bring in? A manager from a top club isn't going to want to go there, especially if they see how easily a manager gets sacked there, if that was the case.

I see Moyes remaining there for the remainder of this season at the very least, with a spin being put on a resignation rather than a sacking, should their season continue to be a laughing stock. Hopefully though, all 6 years of that contract will be served.
They've got Swansea at home (who they just lost to in the FA cup) and then Chelsea away as their next two. They must beat Swansea, but if they lost both I can't imagine him surviving. Even a draw and a loss would be a complete disaster for their top 4 challenge. The question is, who do they bring in even in the interim? I hope he stays though.

As it stands it looks as if winning the CL in the manner we did in 2012 is the only salvation left for them, and that is so preposterously unlikely it is barely worth mentioning.

Moysie is on 5 million quid an year. Sacking him, they'd have to pay him 25 million quid as compensation. Not bad for an incompetent nincompoop.

Yep....he looked like

1) He was nursing a hangover last night ...very pale / eyes all red.
2) A rabbit in the headlights, scared, didn't know what to do.
3) He was slagging off the players / officials to his cronies

Loving it....................

Thinking about this - in between bouts of hysterical laughter - I think the United players are stitching him up.

Everton were a bloody resiliant side under Moyes, annoyingly so. Not great, but not bad and often did a number on us didn't they. They were much better than the dross coming from the swamp at the moment. But the swamp players are no worse than his Everton cronies. Marginally better in fact. And Moyes as a manager is not THAT bad. So why have the wheels fallen off so badly?

Seems to me the swamp players, in the main, really don't give a shit. I can only conclude that they didn't want him, have little or no respect for him and probably can't wait to see him gone. He's a dead man walking imho, and the only question in my mind is whether he will quit before he's sacked. One way or another I cannot see him being manager at the start of next season.

We didn't pay Mancini the £25 million his contract was worth, the contracts have get out clauses for the club, compensation would be had but nowhere near 5 years at £5 million

Alternatively, winning the Capital One Cup or finishing 5th in the PL, or 6th if City win the COC and free up a EL place for the PL finishers. I think a EL place is all they can hope for this season. Fourth place, in competition with Liverpool, Everton, Spurs and Newcastle (and the top three) from where they currently are and how bad most of their team is must surely be beyond them.

Does a EL place go to a PL finisher if both teams in the FA Cup final qualify for European football via their final PL position?

To be safe, I'd like them to finish 8th!

It's no different than what happened with us and Scolari or AVB. They players don't respect him, or have any confidence in his system. They just won't perform if they don't believe in him. That's why the decision to replace Ferguson with somebody with zero experience at a top club, with zero trophies to his name was so ludicrous. He could also be involved in an internal power struggle with some of the senior players who are especially vocal about their disapproval like Ferdinand or RVP.

He's lost the dressing room, if he ever had it to begin with. Nobody can come back from that, even Mourinho couldn't with Madrid.

There were 18,000 empties last night just shows you that at £20 a ticket, not even the suburban spartans can attract a crowd. They've lost it :)
