No no no, we didn't score so the whole performance must've been abysmal /sarcasm

Most 'fans' do not understand the game of football tbh

If you think we played well at Sunderland then you don't understand football. We have barely played well this season except for a few games or half games here & there. That is what is worrying people. We should be playing better with the players that we have. In the games we have played in December, we were poor against Reading, Sunderland, Dortmund, Everton & a half each against United & Newcastle. We played well first half against Newcastle & Second half against United when we were already two down. That is two halves of football out of 6 games! That is not good enough with the players & investment that we have.

Hahaha, fuck off you clueless c.unt. Next you'll be telling me that Sunderland dominated the game and we were lucky to only lose by 1.

Fact is I'm not a wrist-slasher and prefer to deal in reality. Going by your logic we played well about 5 times all of last season.

You have just convinced me that we played fantastic at Sunderland with your amazing debating skills & stunning intellect! Can anyone argue with this supreme, rational, respectful, and logical response? I certainly cannot!

Which is?

All I said was we had been underperforming mostly this Month. Apart from first half Newcastle & second half against ManUre. I thought we played very well today.

Still can't believe we lost at Sunderland. Especially after watching how s*** they were against Spurs this Afternoon. Arrrrgh!

wrist slashers

How is someone a "wrist slasher" if they think the team underperformed at Sunderland? I agree there are some extreme posts on here where after a loss people are saying different players are shit etc & they want the manager out. I think that is a bit different than saying it's a worry that with the team we have, we had underperformed slightly in some of the games in December.

I think the performance today was totally different to the one against Sunderland. Which to me shows that we did underperform at Sunderland.

Anyway onwards & upwards.

I never trust Boxing day performances away from home and the weather was so bad during the Reading game that it ended up being a leveler. There were mitigating circumstances from both displays. Not counting those two games, there are signs that we are coming into form. Bit by bit I can see the swagger returning ... well sporadically anyway.

City played well at Sunderland and couldn't win. That's an honest and accurate opinion in my eyes. The main difference between today and the Sunderland game was that we had Clichy on the left and Zabba on the right flying up and down the wings and Norwich didn't park the bus. We had more luck in front of goal today which we didn't have on Wednesday wether that was down to Aguero and Deckos performances on the day is a matter of opinion.

I'm a sad fuck who watches games repeatedly over and over and it's rarely that we don't play well but when we don't Il be the first to say, however I would never slate the players in the way that happened on Bluemoon last week.

I thought we were quite poor against Reading & Sunderland by our (now pretty high) standards. I think Sunderland was a bit of a kick up the arse, which looks like it has had a positive effect on the players. I thought the team looked much more hungry & up for it today. We moved the ball quicker & were much more direct.

The attacking full backs give us the width that had been lacking previously. Zabba as a stand in left back isn't comfortable going forward on that side as was the case in the Sunderland game so injuries have played their part no doubt but I can't fault the team commitment. You're absolutely correct in us being more direct today, it could well have been a kick in the arse from Wednesday but I like to believe it was Clichy and Zaba doing what they do best. We miss them when they don't play in position as we become too narrow. Just my opinion.
