Sunderland Vs City Post match Discussion Thread

Feel sick we can blame injuries all we want but we've invested so much money on this squad its just unacceptable to still have to rely on crap players like lescott. Yaya uninterested and we just want to walk it in. Title race is over unless we can go to the emirates and anfield etc and win, its not looking good.

Which is why the armband has to be on either Vinny or Zab at all times. If you can't get both on the pitch, at least one must be. More to being captain than being a brilliant player when you can be arsed. Captains have to lead the charge in terms of intensity.

Be lucky to get in the top 6 never mind top 4.
An absolute and utter disgrace.

Would have won that if Milner started in the middle and Navas on the right.

Garcia is seriously one of the worst city players i've ever seen so fucking wank its untrue.

We didn't even come close to scoring with that set up. Navas finds a City player about 1 in 5 times.

An improvement on Milners big healthy 0 then

I do believe we have the best team in the league, but the strength of the squad is not all that.
And it's gonna cost us the league, we can argue there was a foul on Milner in the build up to their goal, Larrson should have had a straight red, but this is fucking Sunderland, 4 points before today, the set up in the 1st half was awful, no pave, no direction and no idea.

manager got it wrong in first half.
Richards and Garcia not good enough.
referee cost us the game with 2 v poor decisions in 5 minutes.
however, the basic point is that we are still missing a 'Keane' in midfield. yaya and nasri and millner never take control when the going gets tough.
championship looks long way off now.
not good day.

Pathetic, utterly pathetic display. The entire blame lays on the players.

Does it? With all the enforced changes would you have thrown a load more in on top (you lose a centre back so just for good measure swap both full backs!). The Manager is undermining a great squad. I know he has to learn but he is no where near getting to grips with this league. We are gonna struggle to be top 4 with this away form. We have an awful lot tougher away games than Sunderland, Cardiff, and Aston Villa.
