Sunderland Vs City Post match Discussion Thread

We lost. We were far the better team. We were the better team against villa. The better team against Chelsea. Cardiff was possibly too early in the adjustment and Stoke we were shit.

We are not playing badly, it's just not going for us. Any one of a number if chances could have gone in today.

I'm not ignoring the obvious but the best we can hope for this season is to challenge and hope others fall away. Today want a disgrace. It wasn't abysmal. It was just a bad result.

Time to support our team. Unless the arrogant ones think they should only do that when we win.

We'd be noted if we win every game anyway. A crisis every 3 weeks keeps it more fun

We were only better in 2nd half and by that time it was too late.
You are blinded by our home form.

So another 100 Million + Pellegrini are not enough to beat Sunderland or Stoke away !

I hate this fixture. Every year we go there expecting to win easily and every year we can't finish and get turned over 1 - 0.

Day of shocks .....Spurs and City lose.....wonder if the rags will buck the trend .....

What does a City fan even wish for at this point? I mean seriously, what do we want to happen in that rags-goons match. Someone tell me.
Play to the death then shoot the winners not politically correct on a day like this but no offence meant

Perhaps the "Milner in the centre" brigade will now at last give it a rest.

I don't see how can use today's game as evidence he shouldn't be playing in the middle. When we moved him there for the second half we were much improved.

Poor choices by Pelli
Zaba should have started
Garcia shouldn't have been anywhere near the pitch
Nasty should have been in place of Lescott
Yaya must be immune to being subbed as he wasn't interested in the game today

Still nothing won in November and some poor results for Chelsea and Spurs I hope the game being played now is a draw.

Garcia was good in his last two performances and was crocked early in this one. Don't have a problem with his selection and Milner was just as bad IMO.

Milner was dreadful

I thought he did ok through the middle in the second half. Doesn't have the pace to play out wide.

Did nothing wrong 2nd half stopped them a few times and kept us attacking.
