cant see us losing but i think we need to pick the right team - one which will put their foot in so too speak

I reckon he'll start Dzeko, which might affect things a bit but should still win this. I'll be furious if we lose lol, sunderland are terrible this season, and since Poyet got there, his tactics just seem to be kick the crap out of the opposition

I think they might meet a team this Sunday that will dish it out just as good and can play a wee bit as well

Again, why would he replace an inform player with an out of form player?

Trying to hang on to our resent 100% record there?

How many games are dossena and catermole banned for? As they play tonight and could be back on sunday!
Straight reds and 3 game bans, although with Cattermole its something like his seventh prem red card in about 4 years, all for violent conduct, he really should get a longer ban.
but we don't have to worry about our lads this time

A straight red is a 1 game ban, same as 2 yellows. It's only 3 if the offence is deemed as violent conduct. Dossena is definitely banned for 3. That wasn't violent conduct.......it was assault!

Regardless of who Poyet picks we should have more than enough to beat this lot. They are bobbins. Same team as Tuesday that finished the game (if Silva and Ferna are injured).

According to the guardian, both cattermole and dossena have 3 game bans. Starting with the capital one cup game tonight. Should both miss our game then.

Of course they are out

According to Twitter this is SAFC's line up for tonight Mannone, Celustka, Bardsley, Brown, O'Shea (C), Ki, Gardner, Colback, Johnson, Giaccherini, Altidore

Isn't that close to their strongest team? A fair few of them will play at weekend, surely, such as AJ.

Didn't even realise they were playing tonight... strips the advantage of having a full week's rest.

We have to win this game. We can't afford another early loss if we are going to win the title. Sunderland are a very poor team and unless the boys come in without the passion they have been playing with there should be no problem. Even if Silva and Dinho don't play it shouldn't change much. Still have Nasri and can give Navas/Milner/Rodwell some game time. MP will probably start Dzeko. He has shown a desire to keep him happy with game time. He did play well in the second OT vs Newcastle but was pretty anonymous the first 90 which tends to be his norm. To me he's a super sub not a starter.

It doesn't matter how many players is injured for them, Aston Villa were without Benteke and they manage to score 3 goals against us.

We should go there and give 200% and hope for 3 points.

I agree. Tbh, I can't see the point in MP giving Dzeko game time to keep him happy: I think that ship has sailed. His recent post goal 'celebrations' and overall play provide the distinct impression he's looking ahead to the transfer window opening in Jan.
Would like to see same starting 11 as last night - although if Clichy gets dropped I won't be heartbroken

If we gave 50% of what we are capable of we would win 2-0! There is no hope about it!

Full strength side, no tinkering about or giving people 'game time'. This is the most important game of the season and we'll win if we don't start messing about with the line up.
