Super Joey Hart?

Super Joe, gave his match shirt to my lad after the game.

Got a lot of time for that.

Get in Joey lad!!

Brilliant to see him back to his best again tonight. Didn't had much work to do, but stepped up exceptionally when he was asked things. Not a sign of a lack of concentration, which is often the issue that comes up here. I still have doubts over him and the goal conceded from Sessegnon was just another confusing moment, but I just want him to remain our no. 1 choice so much under Pep that it's immense. Huge 'return' from him that was.

who calls him Joey anyway?

but try and get one over on Hart and he will get one bigger over on you, like messi found out when he saved his penalty and saved everything else too.

Don't fuck with Super Joe.

I had some issues with him at times but you can't take two things from him - he is probably best in the world in 1 on 1 sitters and he fucking loves this club and enjoys it's success.

Surprised by some of the reporting today, don't get me wrong it was a faultless performance and a great save from Cavani but apart from that he had little to do.

I've heard his saves from Ibra described as stunning, brilliant etc. but for me they were saves you'd expect any half decent keeper to make, they were hit with pace and dip but neither were in the corner. If he'd let either in he'd be getting pelters.

Pretty much in agreement, I thought he had as quiet a game as you could hope for in a CL quarter final. The free kick saves and the Thiago Silva header couldn't have been more routine, all pretty much right down the middle of the net. Good save from Cavani though

all you can ask of a keeper is that they deliver when they're called on, and with the cavani chance he did, big time.

I thought his save from the free kick in the first half was fantastic. On first viewing I thought the same as you but, watching that replay, the pace and swerve would have wrong footed plenty of goalkeepers.

Reminded me of Cech's save about ten years ago against Portsmouth (think it was Nigel Quashie). I wouldn't say Joe's was as good but, when the ball is hit that hard and with that much swerve, it makes little difference whether it's in the corner or not.
