Super League Aftermath.

Seen rumours that they're going to announce new plans for this today. Tebas and Ceferin are clearly on edge.
It would be a tad stupid and incredibly tactless to announce today or anytime in the near future...

'Welcome to the inaugural super league, we are playing this fixture in Iceland due to the ongoing radiation issues across the rest of Europe. For those of you joining across the analogue radio for the 1st time, I'll be reading out the sponsors names every few minutes to help re-create the atmosphere of a TV for you. Now as you all know only a few players from a few of the teams made it to Iceland alive in time, so there's been a rejig of the teams, but we are still unfortunately limited to the 5-a-side format and the whale blubber ball. So, tonight it's LiverCityArseSea against DoubleMadridBarca... in the err.. only... final. And it's ...barely LIVE!'

I think the small skirmish in Ukraine might prevent any announcement.

I'm sure the American banks won't want to put money into it during a time of economic uncertainty.

Hopefully means it's fucked off a bit longer.

Unfortunately this isn't going away and will happen in some form or another.

Years ago Freddie Shepherd while chairman of Newcastle told the Soccerex convention that the PL didn't need the rest of English football as it was holding it back. We have now reached a stage where the PL is holding the big 6 back.

You guys know better than anybody that as fans of one of these clubs your voices count for little, when you are expected to turn up in your thousands on a Monday night in Brighton or Southampton regardless of the fact that there is no train back or you've booked accommodation/travel only for the TV company to move the game just a few weeks before the fixture.

Money talks not necessarily to City but clubs run by investment vehicles.

Picking up a bit more pace now. Some saying no official announcement will be made but clearly the information is being fed to the press. Apparently, we're one of the club's at the forefront.
Any links to us supposedly being at the forefront? It just seems like Real, Barca, and Juve driving this. I did find an article which claims 10 clubs are on board, of which we are one. No Spurs or Arsenal though:

That might have been the one. Lots of conflicting reports coming out though. Probably paving the way for some kind of spokesperson to clear it up.

Very surprising if PL clubs involved>

Discussion about this in the other thread as well:

As Thanos, the villain from The Avenger films said; "I am inevitable". It is going to happen at some stage.
