Fair enough as far as the future is concerned, but then I suppose the question is who better to manage the new technologies for the betterment of football: UEFA and the football associations in the existing ESM, or a cartel of clubs in an ESL?

ESL fanboys expecting a Super League after the ECJ verdict this year, though, will be disappointed I think.
Who runs the game is the crucial question? We could just exchange one bunch of crooks for another. I think there has to be a strong and totally independent regulator that is not corruptly influenced by clubs or political concerns. That is a big ask.

They will announce it in some Hours.

Ceferin is already moaning.
| UEFA president Čeferin on ESL clubs: “For them, fans are customers. For us, fans are fans.” @ArashMassoudi https://t.co/xFV0FoXd3Y

La Liga president Javier Tebas says the three Super League clubs "lie more than Putin. They think that all national leagues must be dumb. It's an insult." Juventus chair Andrea Agnelli is in the same room! #FTFootball

"Tomorrow night" would have been Wednesday night. "Some hours" could be any time.
Give us a clue or give it a rest.
Was never an announcement of a new league, just an interview by Agnelli at a football summit afaik, which tried to paint ESL as a saviour, of course.

Nothing will actually happen until after the ECJ has given its verdict later this year or next year.
