Super League Aftermath.

This would pretty much kill the superleague -

Spanish clubs are going on strike to force the government to create a law to block the superleague.

To sum it up - Tebas and the majority of clubs believe they need the €2Bn CVC deal to survive, and they think the possibility of a superleague coming along and taking Barcelona, Atletico and Real away from the league is going to kill the CVC deal and threaten the long term survival of La Liga.

So they will go on strike from next Friday if the Government doesn't put in an ammendment to a big Sports bill it's voting on soon to block any future superleague.
Interesting

Given the hostility from the usual suspects - I'm beginning to think it may not be that bad a thing in the long-run.

Have you ever thought that the hostility from the usual suspects is co-ordinated so as to give the impression the redshirts won't be able to compete until there is an ESL? If supporters of the American-owned clubs start accepting that, then one of the main objections to the old ESL has been defeated.

It looks like this is raising its ugly head again. Nop prizes for guessing who is behind it.

Looks like it was an ambush and Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus walked right into it. Shame. They have made some amazing cock-ups throughout all of this sorry adventure.

Credit to Ceferin. I suspect he is feeling pretty confident right now.
