Myself & my girlfriend are seriously considering it as we spent the best part of £2,000 each (Inc Season ticket) on tickets last season anyway. London trips are going to be stunningly expensive next season as we`re Cat A everywhere. If it`s true Chelsea will be between £72 & £90, QPR between £47 & £70 odd, spurs, the Arse & Fulham easily £50 etc, etc. If we do OK in the cups (not forgetting how expensive a minimum of 3 Champs League aways could potentially be), we can`t see a massive shortfall to be honest.

2 invites, 2 in the dustbin.

great to know 10 years of loyalty, going everywhere, will be rewarded by city giving 1st refusal on away tickets to those with money.

also if you get a ticket for every home game, the cost os different say from someone getting an invite in the family stand compared to colin bell level 2.

season tickets havnt been thought though enough at all, if city get to a cup final next year will juniors be entitled to go on their parent points, if so, little point in getting a kid a platinum ticket.

people with kids cannot get value cards, so the cheap offer isn't extended to those who need the most help.

single blokes snap up the value cards, the people with the most disposable income.

double loyalty points for watching the same thing, whats that all about.

as you can tell i think it is all bullshit.

I was offered it but my lad wasn't and I go to the vast majority of games with him. I assume that I would automatically be sent a ticket but would want to be with my lad. In that case would have to faff about changing etc. Thought about getting him one if it comes to his band (5,500) but as he may be off to Uni soon it would be a waste of money.

I imagine that the majority of people taking it up would be dedicated single people/travellers or people who look on it as a quick leg up the points ladder for one year only.

if city are dishing out 2000 points for it, it is surely only fair they dish out 2000 points for previous seasons full attendance, this continued moving of the goalposts stinks, and it will only serve to upset more people that it pleases.

Interesting idea. I would have thought though that those people would be in the top (Superbia) bracket anyway and would be taking it up. I am sure there are a few but it would be interesting to know if anyone went to EVERY game last season including all pre season friendlies, cups etc.

I don't understand this argument.

Surely by definition if you have enough loyalty points to be offered this package, you're not exactly skint in the first place and hence can afford to pay for the package? Or do you devote your life solely to living hand-to-mouth to afford your city away days [and if this is the case, fair play to you but I personally think that's an odd decision to take].

In summary. No one with 7000+ loyalty points should be able to play the "city are pricing us out" card, because by definition you spend many thousands of pounds supporting city anyway.

What bollocks. I have 8440 points and go to virtually every game along with the missus. There's a huge difference in shelling out £2500 x 2 in one lump sum and paying the same (or actually less) out of wages etc across 9 months, especially as you are paying out £5K in my case and you have no idea what you will get in return (as it is wholly dependent on how we do in 3 cups)

The problem is that they've invited people with 7/8000 points most of whom aren't taking it up.
So they'll drop it down and invite those with 6500 points. They'll get 2000 points and be on top of the points list, just because they might have a spare 2500. Not fair.

and the rest...if city have budgeted for 4000 fans @ £2500 each and only 1000 take up that offer, then they still need to get 3000 in to meet the budgets they proposed.

therefore, it will drop to 6500 points and maybe get another 500, then its drops to 6000 points and maybe get 500, then it drops to 5500 points, etc....until they get their 4000 people at £2500 each

i can see this being offered to people either on 3000 points or who simply have £2500 in the bank regardless of how long they have been following city
