if city are dishing out 2000 points for it, it is surely only fair they dish out 2000 points for previous seasons full attendance, this continued moving of the goalposts stinks, and it will only serve to upset more people that it pleases.

Interesting idea. I would have thought though that those people would be in the top (Superbia) bracket anyway and would be taking it up. I am sure there are a few but it would be interesting to know if anyone went to EVERY game last season including all pre season friendlies, cups etc.

friendlies are not in the offer, but i have 8 full seasons of attendance since loyalty points were introduced, can i have my 16000 point s please city.

I thought friendlies were in the offer, but anyway, if you have been to every game home and away, cup etc for the last 8 seasons then I doff my cap.
Well done that man!

The problem is that they've invited people with 7/8000 points most of whom aren't taking it up.
So they'll drop it down and invite those with 6500 points. They'll get 2000 points and be on top of the points list, just because they might have a spare 2500. Not fair.

and the rest...if city have budgeted for 4000 fans @ £2500 each and only 1000 take up that offer, then they still need to get 3000 in to meet the budgets they proposed.

therefore, it will drop to 6500 points and maybe get another 500, then its drops to 6000 points and maybe get 500, then it drops to 5500 points, etc....until they get their 4000 people at £2500 each

i can see this being offered to people either on 3000 points or who simply have £2500 in the bank regardless of how long they have been following city

They can't do that, there are only max 3000 away tickets available for every league game and sometimes considerably less than that. The strapline is 'guaranteed ticket for every game' so they will only be able to offer this to max 1000 people IMO.

and that leads me onto the other point....at present everyone picks and choses their away games, thus resulting it a lot more tickets filtering down to lower loyalty point fans

with the new system ,that wont happen anymore as the superbia will get the tickets allocation regardless and less will filter down....we will end up with more city fans trying to offload tickets off the record/touting

but city wont care as they have "sold out" their allocation

Great point. Then again i would say that as it has been my thought from day one

until we draw midjettland or aalboorg in the europa league again, and 600 tickets come up for grabs, who gets them, the person who has the loyalty points but no superbia, or johnny come lately with cash on the hip for superbia.

i think we all know the answer, and thats why it totally stinks.

but if city catapult fans up the ladder due to their financial standing, they will find not one of our group will support the club in the games they are desperate for people to attend.

loyalty is a 2 way thing, and this superbia is ill thought out, aimed at the wealthly and totally overides why the loyalty points were introduced.

for the person who says do i have live hand to mouth, yes i do, i budget for working my tits off through the summer to afford the next season.

i earn 20k approx, 2 kids and a mortgage, 5k up front for our 2 would be totally impossible.

Dont think you can use the phrase
"or johnny come lately with cash on the hip for superbia".
Despite the money they can hardly be a JCL as they will have amased massive points to qualify

fair comment, but if it lands at people with 2000 points then they will have less than my 5 year old daughter.

he's not talking about the ones who meet the loyalty ponts criteria mate....if city dont get enough of those to meet their "projected figures" then it will simply be down to a financial criteria

I don't know whether you meant those figures to be literal but I can't see City budgeting for selling more than 300-700 of them. Especially as we only get 1500 tickets at some grounds.

2 invites, 2 in the dustbin.

great to know 10 years of loyalty, going everywhere, will be rewarded by city giving 1st refusal on away tickets to those with money.

also if you get a ticket for every home game, the cost os different say from someone getting an invite in the family stand compared to colin bell level 2.

season tickets havnt been thought though enough at all, if city get to a cup final next year will juniors be entitled to go on their parent points, if so, little point in getting a kid a platinum ticket.

people with kids cannot get value cards, so the cheap offer isn't extended to those who need the most help.

nailed it^^, completely unfair and its creating a class system amongst fans, I'm waiting for all the spare superbia tickets finding their way into corporate hands. If you're a normal fan on an average wage you'll be priced out or unable to get a ticket. We are on our way of turning into the club we all hate and have mocked for this very thing, the prawn sandwich brigade are just around the corner!
single blokes snap up the value cards, the people with the most disposable income.

double loyalty points for watching the same thing, whats that all about.

as you can tell i think it is all bullshit.

nailed it^^, its a class system amongst fans, the prawn sandwich brigade are just around the corner, I reckon the spare superbia tickets for big away and cup final big games will be offered to corporate leaving less for us
