I went to every Europa game away this season and league games and cup games which cost me a lot of money, but it was up to me if i wanted to go or not and whether i could afford it at the time, now i am being asked to fork out £2500 from the start which is totally wrong as stated before what happens if we dont progress in some competions it then becomes money into the clubs coffers,as much as i love City it is up to me whether i go to aways or not or will they give me a discount.(i dont think so)
You don't have to pay, and you'll still get the tickets you want, don't be bullied.

Exactly, those that have been offered the Superbia really don't have to worry about getting tickets for any game.

Can't see you being caught up by the masses for quite a few years yet, double points or not double points

i'v been offered superbia yet didn't have enough points for chelsea away and that was a 1.5k allocation ?!?! supporters clubs & corperate took the piss that day, appaling atmopshere full of daytrippers.

The way I read it Superbia gives you 2000 points.
Platinum gives you 380 for joining, then 100 for on line subscriptions, 480 points.
If you then join all 3 cup schemes, you get 200points for each plus a bonus 300 points for doing all 3, that's another 900 points.
That's 1380 points, and then if you go to all the away games in the league and cup say 25 games at 20 points each, that another 500 points, so you will only be around 200 points behind Superbia and you don't need to pay up front.
Simples.

The Superbia membership being available to the supporters with the highest number of points seems reasonable to me. The problem is the cost, at £2500, it is taking the piss out of loyal supporters. That is unless we got through to every final of every competition maybe. Even then those loyal supporters must also be able to afford it. So ultimately they are getting screwed, at very little financial return for the club. So the point is?

None really, unless they get offered to those willing to pay, regardless of the points, then it begins to fuck this club up. If it was a reward for loyalty, the price would be more like £1500, with first option on Semi / Final tickets if we reached them.

I would have thought that `Superbia` members would also qualify for the away / cup game extra points in addition to the 2000 for joining. Perhaps someone has the definitive answer ?

As i understand it `Platinum` members would - if they took all the extras get 1080 points at the point of joining then additional points for away / cup games.

I always knew that when we started to become successful we would get shafted by the money men.Is this the start of the bandwagon? I have been offered superbia but like the majority of blues who go to the games,i cant afford it. FFFFF IIIII NNNNN JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111

you are missing the point, they probably won't have the points, if those at the top end of loyalty points dont take the offer, it is going to be passed down to the next level, until they sell out, basically meaning someone with 8000 loyalty points whom cannot afford it, wont get tickets, while someone with 3000 loyalty points who can afford it, will get all the tickets landing on his mat.

they are DEFINATELY aiming to sell a certain amount, that is why there is a supposed waiting list with the platinum season ticket.

and like i will say again, if city get a small allocation, they who have literally spend thousands and thousands over the years will miss out to someone who is wealthier but has been far less loyal.

i really cannot understand how anyone cannot see this, and it has nothing to do with loyalty.

the club should be making people aware of how many they are going to sell, because if i havnt got access to the small allocation games, despite having a huge loyalty points total then i will take a stance on my future match going, and to which season ticket packages i will commit to.

I think you make a good point, I also agree with Prestwich Blue that it has been very poorly thought out....I can't decide whether they have had a group of internal 'numpties' form a project team and 'brainstorm' it or whether they have paid an outside agency silly money and these guys know fuck all about what motivates fans but have some experience in supermarket sales and marketing ..hey presto.

I agree in priciple with segmenting the fan base and I also think the idea of the platinum card is a clever way to generate additional income without any capital expenditure but they have effectively made the process of earning loyalty points redundant....

"Bumper bonus loyalty points
Earn 600 loyalty points if you join all 3 cup schemes with Platinum"

Now does that mean you get no bonus for all 3, or you get 600 bonus points on top of the 600 for joining all three?
