superbia package-major flaw

I went to every Europa game away this season and league games and cup games which cost me a lot of money, but it was up to me if i wanted to go or not and whether i could afford it at the time, now i am being asked to fork out £2500 from the start which is totally wrong as stated before what happens if we dont progress in some competions it then becomes money into the clubs coffers,as much as i love City it is up to me whether i go to aways or not or will they give me a discount.(i dont think so)

You don't have to pay, and you'll still get the tickets you want, don't be bullied.

if we draw plymouth away in the cup next season some of the "superbia" will get a ticket but not go

it's official touting like 'club wembley'

they'll be selling them on here at a profit, and they will get the points not you

Some people with 5000+ points do that already.

if city sell say 600/700 of these packages, to the first 700 people willing to buy them, then for some european away games there will be no allocation as such.

take midjettland away 2 years ago, 600 allocation, these would effectively all be taken by the richest fans, and in many cases not the most loyal, again brighton away 2 years ago, allocation 800.

it is obvious city intend to sell out of superbia packages due to offering to join the waiting list with platinum.

those who have done their time, earnt their points honestly, but whom cannot afford the 2.5k are going to be let down big time.

methinks someone at city needs to read what the word loyalty means.

nah, how many of us can afford 2.5k EVERY YEAR for a season ticket? No way we will sell many of them

makes me laugh how people are getting worried thinking there are loads of fans on 3000 loyalty just waiting to stump up the cash on these superbia packages! i know 4 people that have been offered this superbia package, 2 of which could easily stump up the cash, how many of them are taking it up? none.
they don't think its worth it. also i think the days of us getting teams with an away allocation of 600 are behind us (i hope!)

Exactly, those that have been offered the Superbia really don't have to worry about getting tickets for any game.

Can't see you being caught up by the masses for quite a few years yet, double points or not double points

The biggest flaw surely is if we were to get knocked out of any of the cups in the early stages, you'd have paid for nothing. Has this been covered anywhere?
I wondered this! Let's say that we get through to the CL group phase... we play three home games and three away games and finish bottom of the group; we are knocked out of the League Cup in the second round; and we are knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round... people are paying £2500 to see eight cup games, WOW!

Apologies if already asked, but haven't these only been offered to the people who actually attend this sort of game and have done for a good few years rather than people who have just got a certain amount of loyalty points?

I seem to remember someone posting that they'd been targeted and would qualify for pretty much any ticket anyway as they had so many points. Put them on Platinum this season and they'd be untouchable.

an earlier post said about a class was between fans

well its always been the case, if you stumped up for an exec box or tickets for the boardroom suite, then you got tickets for away games and were guaranteed them for wembley. this is actually rewarding loyal fans ahead of the corporates, tickets became available after the club and corporates had their allocation.

think people forget we had plenty of corporate tickets at Maine Road and that was when we were watching shite !!! we all wanted the holy grail of football, we have it. so the ones with the most points should be able to attend, then it will filter through the normally loyalty points.

cant see an issue with it
