Los Angeles is well known for not supporting their NFL franchises throughout the years. They get one or two, but the games don't draw many fans. There is simply too many other things to so for enjoyment in LA is my understanding. For the franchises that move 2000 miles away what happens to the fan base?
do they still follow the team despite them having a new name?
Do residents of the new city just pick up and become fans of the ‘new’ club?
What about residents of the city that no longer has a club?
i suppose similar to wimbledon/mk dons but at least wimbledon had a pheonix club to support
Probably stopped when A-Rod retired. Not sure the yanks have had a decent men’s player since. When did you last watch mens tennis? Don’t think there’s been a serve vollley-er in two decades.
Although if he now thinks that that is all it takes to be successful, then hopefully he moves Arsenal to Gibraltar.Fucking depressing that a Kroenke-owned team has won something, particularly one he picked up and moved 2000 miles.
It is nice that they commemorate Attilio Lombardo though.Superbowl - Theres no bowls and it's definitely not super
I was thinking more somewhere like Turkmenistan.Although if he now thinks that that is all it takes to be successful, then hopefully he moves Arsenal to Gibraltar.
I liked it...
