Supporters Club tickets

Does anyone know how the club contacts a person buying an away ticket before the 48 hour window starts to pay for the away ticket? Is it via email, text, or does it appear in your City wallet pending until payment is made? Or do City use the persons direct debt details to take the money? Thanks.

The main issue for me is the banning of sales of City tickets on those ticket tout sites.

Then it would be how many the club give to their corporates (just give them more home tickets in Tunnel Club instead of our away tickets).

Then it would be how tickets just get dished out by the club to people willy-nilly (one year a City vlogger got a ticket for our first away game of the season for his gf who’d never been to an away game before).

Then it would be how many go to family, friends and hangers-on of players and staff.

Only then would I look at Supporters Clubs.

An email with a link to confirm ticket reservation and to pay for the ticket, as far as I know.

Can’t remember now whether Brighton was on sale before the league was won or not?

Certainly a few no shows if it was sold out. Not that I blame anyone for not bothering with a dead rubber, midweek on the south coast. Just making the point that you don’t have to go back too far to find a game that wasn’t mega popular.
It sold out, but I had rows of empties near me, the regulars were all there, it felt like that the corporates who had tickets didn't bother because it became a dead rubber, I say that because they were all seats together, and in the best block, which is normally where they get allocated

Most probably players families/corporate. There needs to be a section for players families somewhere in the home end like Uefa do for each team.

True. Because I went and sat in one of those posh seats for the second half because my seat was too low down!

I received my email for Burnley last Tuesday and for the community shield it was already sold out on 18th of July

I have no axe to grind either way but people keep asking about how many tickets the OSC groups get and someone said (sorry I'm not going back through the thread) why not ask Kevin Parker. As far as I'm aware that question has been asked of KP at meetings. I'm not sure what the answer was but surely it should be communicated to ALL OSC groups?
Plus maybe it isn't down to KP and the OSC, maybe it is down to the club.

Surely with the OSC numbers each OSC should be given a percentage of their branch numbers e.g. if you've got 100 members and it's 5% then you get 5 tickets. Then if there are any left over they would go in a ballot?
It is the lack of transparency that bothers me (a little bit)

I remember being told when I asked the question a looooong time ago at an OSC meeting, when I was representing our branch as nobody else could make it, that in the past some Branch leaders had been asked to take extra tickets, in the days when getting tickets was easy and therefore they should get priority (not put quite as bluntly as that but I know committee speak, done it myself!!). Is this still happening?

It's pretty widely known the UK OSC receive 20% of the ticket allocation ie 600 from 3k, applications are invited from every branch who can apply for as many as they like, but what they receive depends on past tickets applications particularly amount taken for games that were less fancied FA Cup semis etc. Then the number of branch members, we're lucky now to receive two.
