This is why we started ours. I've met some good mates through our branch.
You're lucky then. I hate everyone in my branch. They're all thundercunts.
i think you should do a Marx and write to the club "PLEASE ACCEPT MY RESIGNATION. I DON'T WANT TO BELONG TO ANY CLUB THAT WILL ACCEPT PEOPLE LIKE ME AS A MEMBER".

There's only one Marx in my world and it ain't Groucho. I've tried to resign. They won't let me. No-one else wants to be treasurer or do the website.

Lets turn the clock back 12 months !!!!---
Right MY team CITY look like they might become "quite successful" soon, and i may need tickets for the "BIG" games !! what shall i do ?
1- Gain loyalty points......Too late i`ve not been to enough games.
2-Join cup scheme....... No ,don`t fancy watching a lower league team in the early rounds.
3- Join a supporters club.......I`ve heard i will be guarnteed a ticket but cant be arsed.
4- Gain one from another sourse..... We may play a poorly supported club in the final and be able to get one from them.
5-Prevent abuse of system by S.C.`s.....I`ve heard our local sc are selling tickets down the pub for inflated prices but dont want to name them.
6-Win one in comp`s.....Every newspaper/mag/tv channel/radio/local s,market has one to win [but i want to sit with my mates].

Or i could do non of the above and moan like f**k next May on bluemoon.!!!!!

YEAH sounds like a plan

People are using the example of a Blue buying tickets for another on their membership but I'm struggling to think of any Seasoncard holder I know who has enough points / priority for Wembley and isn't going. Branch membership ensures access to far more people.

This blingy bloke seems to be on a one man crusade to slaughter the S/C.

Wonder which one wound him up so much?

Chill out - suporters clus play a vital role. Logistics, whether geographical, personal or financial dictate the amount of games some blues can get to. Supporters clubs keep these Blues connected to the club.
They are not, as some would have you believe, parasites.

If clubs are dishing out tickets at a mark up, then name & shame them or shut the fuck up.

This jimbo fella doesn't seem to be able to look at comments objectively

To answer jimbos question about what branch has wound me up, if anyone other then jimbo is interested ( which is probably no one other then jimbo) = none as I don't have or have ever had the need to have any dealings with s/c..

I'm just stating what I know to be true..

If you can't stand up and say for certain that im lying then maybe shut the fuck up yourself ...

I'm just contributing what I know to be true.. But im not going to shut the fuck up on the merit I don't meet your criteria of having to name names to be able post a comment ..

I cant just see why everybody cant just get there own tickets ok they provide transport, meet pals have events spread the word but just get your own tickets.
The sc have been going for years i was in chorlton and then levenshulme in the bad old days and we all sorted out are own tickets, these sorting pals out has been going on for years but back then it was to fill the bus with piss heads who fancied a day out so its not new and you can get your tickets over the internet direct from city no matter where you live so thats no excuse.
Every time a big match appears this back biting starts.

I know of at least 3...finances dictate whether some can go or not.

we have had a open admission on this forum tonight that people have received tickets for the cup final regardless of loyalty points due to the fact that they were " active" members of their supporters club , now people are angry at the club for the cup scheme for which the criteria was made obvious from day 1, yet no body is bothered about the more obvious flouting of the rule that is the supporters clubs applying for tickets and giving them to whoever they want
Dont Let the truth ge tin the way of a story mate .your complaint should be with the F.A for giving both clubs a measly amount of tickets .the rest they dish out to all & sundry but they will as usual end up on the black market & City fans regardless of points or how many games they go to will pay over the odds for them

Never heard such a crock of shit in all my born days. There's some pretty slanderous comments on this thread and I think it needs to be pulled. Our branch is run honourably and fairly, and us ex-pat Mancs (for whom every match is an away match) go fcukin everywhere to support our club.

City fans turn up in force for Wigan, Blackburn & Stoke for example, but how many did we take to Arsenal? Swansea? I guarantee you that the support at these games was mostly SC's, the same faces week in week out.

It's on trend to start slagging off SC's when the big games come around, but rest assured, if it wasn't for SC's our away support for "non-big" games would be embarrassing.

Give your heads a good wobble and stop this pointless bitching just because "our kid" cant get a fcukin ticket.

Shit happens.
