Supporting Two Teams?

I personally think it depends on the circumstances. Just choosing a ‘premier league team’, is nonsense.

My family are from Lincoln. Growing up, Lincoln were, and still are, my team first and foremost. However, when my Dad was younger, his best mate was from Manchester. One week, he would travel with him to watch City, the next, they’d watch Lincoln. For many years, he had season tickets at both, and took us whenever we could go along to City, too. Then we had season tickets at both, and then one or the other. My dad has seen more City games than most, and still attends Lincoln regularly.

There’s a real affinity through memories, ups, downs, family, friends and places for both clubs and a lot of time and dedication put into both teams. You could argue with me about who I choose as ‘my’ club and why, but Dad’s been there through thin, then thick, with both teams.

Nah not for me. I have a few European teams but I’m not mad about them. In the late 90s I supported Rangers nearly as much as City but since their fans trashed Manchester my loved waned somewhat. Only City are in my veins
Same here still like Gers but never the same after the Manchester final

City and Bridge Celtic. Had some of best days watching Bridge away especially in FACup qualifiers and 1st Rounds plus The Trophy

At my kids football training tonight, out of about 30 children, three were wearing Al Nassr kits!

Not sure if they'll grow up supporting multiple teams, or just a string of players, but that definitely felt odd.
My mate has 3 boys, all Brighton fans (I live on South coast) but he buys a few random kits for them, Miami, Madrid etc from DH gate, so cheap, which they wear to their footy training etc but still all big Brighton fans.

I can't imagine supporting another football team. I have soft spots for several teams, usually the local club in places I've lived and worked around the UK and Europe but it's never more than that, just a soft spot whose results I keep an eye on. It's always and only Chelsea.
Give over. You're a Chelsea supporting City fan. You just need to get out of that closet!
